Product description

Titebond® WeatherMaster™ Metal Roof Crystal Clear Sealant is a premium-grade, superior polymer formula that remains clear even after UV and dirt exposure. It offers unbeatable adhesion to all metals including Kynar™ coated metals, aluminum, galvanized steel, copper and most common building materials, and is dust and dirt resistant. It remains permanently flexible and will not shrink, adheres well to wet and damp surfaces and will not bubble like urethane sealants Dften can. APPLICATION TEMPERATURE: Above 0°F (-18°C) SERVICE TEMPERATURE RANGE: -75°F to 300°F (-59°C to 149°C) METHOD OF APPLICATION: Cartridge/caulking gun, bulk/sausage gun TOOLING TIME: For a 1/4"" bead, approximately 10-15 minutes, depending on temperature and humidity. Recommended times are based on 70°F and 50% RH. Cool dry conditions will slow cure, hot and humid conditions will reduce cure times. WORKING SURFACES: Surfaces must be cleaned down to the original substrate and free from any material that may prevent adhesion. It is the sole responsibility of the user to thoroughly test any proposed use with all substrates to determine project suitability. To ensure neat sealant lines, mask areas adjacent to joints. Once the sealant is dry to the touch and does not transfer, remove the masking tape. Not for use with nail holes or butt joints. Not designed for continuous submersion or use below the waterline. SUBSTRATE COMPATIBILITY: Excellent adhesion to Kynar™ coated materials. For use on polycarbonate, check with polycarbonate supplier on compatibility. For questions, please call our Help Line at 1-800-347-4583. PAINTING: WeatherMaster Metal Roof is intended for exterior use. If used indoors, sealant may need to be painted. Painting may occur two hours after application with a high-quality acrylic, water-based (latex-based) paint. For other paint types, a compatibility test is recommended. CLEANUP: Uncured material may be cleaned with isopropyl alcohol. After curing, excess sealant must be cut or scraped away. Follow solvent vendor’s precautions when using solvents. NOTE: Test solvent on an out-of-the-way area to make sure it will not mar or attack the surface. STORAGE: Store unused product in tightly closed container, in a dry location at or below 75°F (24°C). LIMITATIONS: Air, sealant and surface temperature should be above 0°F(-18°C). WeatherMaster Metal Roof Sealant is intended for exterior use. If light colors are used indoors, sealant must be painted. Always apply sealant in a bead form. Once the sealant is applied, do not smear or feather sealant to a thin film unless it is painted due to accelerated aging under UV exposure. Do not wipe with solvents or tool with soap or alcohols. If joint depth exceeds 1/2”, use backing material. NOTE: Highly recommend using backer rod/backing material for all joints. Not designed for continuous submersion or use below the waterline. Store unused product in dry location at or below 75°F (24°C). Do not apply Metal Roof Translucent to polycarbonate due to solvent cracking. For questions regarding use, please call our Help Line at 1-800-347-4583.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Why Should Christians Care for Creation?

God’s Word. God’s World. The Mission of BioLogos.

Are science and religion at war? Many people today believe they are in conflict. BioLogos exists to show that you don’t have to choose between modern science and biblical faith. Watch the video to learn more …

Many people today, both secular and Christian, want us to believe that science and religion cannot live together. Not only is this untrue, but we believe that a thoughtful dialogue between science and faith is essential for engaging the hearts and minds of individuals today. BioLogos provides an important first step towards that end.
